How YWF playoffs work:

1. There are 6 teams from the AFC Conference and 6 teams from the NFC Conference in the playoffs

2. The 4 teams that win their divison in each conference get the top 4 seeds. The better the win/loss record the higher the seed

3. Both the AFC and NFC will also feature 2 non-divison winning teams in the 5th and 6th seeds. The better the win/loss record the higher the seed

4. The #1 and #2 seeded teams get an automatic pass to the 2nd round of the playoffs.

5. In the first round the #3 seed team will face the #6 seed team and the #4 seed team will face the #5 seed team

6. Whichever team is the higher seed is the team who gets home field advantage

7. When a team loses they are eliminated from the playoffs. A game in the playoffs cannot end in a tie. The game will keep repeating overtime until a winner is decided
